About Anita Nolan
Anita Nolan writes for children, picture books through young adult. She’s edited a magazine for children’s writers, publications covering the food industry and the commercial real estate market, as well as for an e-publisher. With a degree in Food Science, she’s worked in product development for a large food company and owned a gourmet shop.
An SCBWI member, Anita has spoken at writing conferences throughout the Northeast and conducts writing workshops at the Pearl S. Buck Writing Center. She’s a quilter and avid gardener, and often incorporates her interests and experiences into stories for children. Anita and her husband live in Bucks County, Pa. She’s mother hen to three children, walker of one dog, servant to two cats, and treat lady for six chickens.
