ICONIC HOLIDAY HEN CONTEST 2016
As we sneak up on Halloween and Voting Day and Thanksgiving (for the US contingent) and Toussaint in France and Guy Fawkes Day in the UK and many holidays and important landmark days I’m not enlightened enough to know about, I wanted to let all the illustrators out there know that we are coming up to the Iconic Hen time of year. If you are an illustrator and would like to submit your Iconic Holiday Hen illustration to be used as the Hen&ink Holiday Mascot, please send to submissions at you-know-where between between November 12th and November 15th. The chosen Hen will spread holiday cheer throughout the publishing world (with the artist’s name intact!) and its creator will be invited to her/his very own Open Coop Iconic Hen Day (i.e., he/she will be invited to present a portfolio or a project for our consideration). We’ve had some fabulous Hens in the past and can’t wait to seeing what 2016 version! Remember the submission dates: November 12-15, 2016!
