Hen&inkblots: A Literary Blog

Thank you to all you brave writers and illustrators!

March 5, 2016 by Erzsi Deak

Open Coop First Friday for March has come and gone. Thank you to everyone who submitted middle-grade and illustration work. Assuming you sent a middle-grade or illustration project, you should have heard from me today about your submission. The next Open Coop First Friday is in May. Details to follow!

I’m looking forward to seeing new work and meeting old and new friends in the Poconos (E. PA SCBWI) and in Austin at The Writing Barn come the month of May.

May creativity be with you!

    1. Hi Cynthia, Thanks for your message. I just got back from two conferences (Eastern PA SCBWI at Highlights and The Writing Barn in Austin), so am “done speaking” for the season. I did do a webinar with Julie Hedlund for 12×12, if you are a part of that group. Yikes! That’s the long answer that I’m not signed on for any SCBWI panels in the near-future. But I’m open to them, of course! Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks, again, Erzsi
